plans...

Trying to avoid the heat here in Phoenix, I daydream about heading back to Portland and working on the 2nd Bathroom. We decided to get a few bids to find out what it might cost us if we don't "DIY" it so I worked up a couple of drawings to ship off and walk with contractors next time I'm home... All sketches, nothing formal. Here's what we're thinking... what are your thoughts?

Simple Floor Plan
The rom is almost square, we have the original 6'-0" clawfoot tub to reuse... but other than that - everything goes! The lighting/ circuitry is not good, the walls are in poor shape, there is no water pressure (new lines from the main) and windows would be replaced.

The board & batten is going to look great. But, are you putting it behind the tub as well? So, no shower, then?

SK - Yes, the board and batten will be behind the tub, we'll do a traditional shower stand and curtain ring around the entire tub. Plus, we'll use real wood not primed mdf so a little moisture won't make it swell.
