Nesting in AZ

With any luck, we're headed back to Portland in February 2013... Until then - We are still here in Arizona. How do you set up a very temporary nursery and not have a lot of furniture to move? A few photos of how I'm getting ready for baby down here...
Need to frame the artwork, but our mini corner nursery is coming along!
Her little corner in our Master Bedroom. Artwork Forthcoming.
Aren't these darling?

AZ: Road Trip

It was a Christmas Miracle (in May) that the jobsite was closed for three consecutive days. That was the first time since I can remember that we had that many days off in a row, without taking PTO. Swanky and I took the Venza on a long road trip... Phoenix, Monument Valley (AZ/Utah), to Mesa Verde (CO), dropping down to Waterflow (NM), to the Petrified Forest (AZ) and then home again... we really wanted to see the property in Waterflow, NM and his some National Parks along the way.

The Dust Storm, our entire drive on Saturday... gusts of up to 75mph

At the end of this road, atop the mesa... we own property...

AZ Updates

The project is kicking our butts these days, and we find ourselves trying to recoup on the weekend(s). We both end up working large portions of Saturdays and scramble to do something enjoyable on Sundays. The best part? We're together.
